Our Background

Bursar was elected according to the constituent of the Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) under sub seksyen 35 (1)- the university and university colleges statute 2010- which covers the duties to manage financial matters of the university and assist the realization of university strategic planning in in line with its mission and vision.

Plan, execute and monitor university’s income and prepare the university’s financial statement.

Manage financial matters in accordance to the account standards through spending process, procurement , payment, asset and store management and accountancy, in adjacent with the achievement and main income of the university.    

Bursar's office is responsible in managing all university financial activities. It is responsible in assuring financial sources are spent according to the stipulated budget, keep financial transaction records, and prepare financial reports according to the regulation stated.  

It consists of several departments and units:
